We all started out as conventional fishermen. Mieliebomb, floaties, the whole lot. Nothing wrong with that, it is how most of us got hooked.

But at some point we discovered specimen carp fishing and something clicked. It felt less like a hobby and more like a craft. An art we wanted to be part of. So we made the transition, and we learnt as we went along, picking up knowledge from every person we met along the way.

Slab Hunters is the club we wish existed when we were starting out. A place where people at every stage of the journey can come together and teach each other.
